DAY 9

Day 9 - Brunnsviken

Wednesday, July 5th 2017, my beautiful Grinda

Today was the last day to enjoy Sweden. The next day we would be set to fly to a new destination… Yet we still had many things to see in Sweden before starting to think about our departure. So we headed towards park Haga, where the lake Brunnsviken was located. We visited a small museum at the entrance of the park, and continued following the lake’s shoreline. We stopped to eat lunch, resumed our walk, and that’s when we saw a kayak club: the Brunnsvikens Kanotklubb. The temptation was too strong, we couldn’t resist a little rowing on the lake. With our electronics secured in a bag, we set off on two hours of kayaking ! We rowed along the southern part of the lake. The sky was blue and it was very nice to let the waves of the passing boats carry us.

But we couldn’t stay too long, our luggage still had to be packed. So we went back. But before that, we stopped at the sushi stand “Noorii” in the Mall of Scandinavia for our dinner. The sushi was delicious and we were warmly welcomed (they even gave us a free miso soup !).

Back to our Airbnb, it was with heavy hearts that we packed our stuff.
