DAY 6

Day 6 - Drottningholm

Monday, July 3rd 2017, a castle near the water

On this morning, we went to the Castle of Drottningholm, a private residence for the swedish royal family. We started by visiting the main areas: the centre ground with its guards, as well as the garden and its fountain.

We then took the path that led to the sea, and to the entrance of a forest. We walked as far as we could and stopped to eat in said forest.

Once our lunch was finished, we visited the chinese pavilion. It’s a beautiful place with a couple of typical chinese constructions.

After that, we walked along the “Labyrinten”, a small labyrinth of hedges in the castle’s garden. To end our ride, we went around the few lakes and tiny islands of the domain.
