DAY 4

Day 4 - Vaxholm

Saturday, July 1st 2017, a wedding and greenhouses full of plants

For our fourth day, we went on to discover Lötsjön, a small lake north-west of our Airbnb. We came around it and, as always, enjoyed the company of many ducks.

The afternoon. It was 2 PM when we arrived near Djugården. We started by following the water of the northern part of the island, but on the other side of the shore. It was a very pleasant walk, the path is followed by a very long line of trees along the river. To make this even more magical, we encountered a freshly married couple, capturing the moment in front of that same river.

Once we made it to the end, we took the last bridge that led to the island. This allowed us to walk around the small lake Asbladskärret before entering the royal national park which we crossed through the trails surrounded by trees.

A few hours of walking later, we arrived at Rosendals Trägård, a very large garden in which you could even get lost. There, we found an abundance of greenhouses, full of treasures fit for any garden lover. It’s even possible to eat in one of them if you want to taste some of the specialities. It’s a sumptuous place for people in love with flowers and plants alike. I would highly recommend it this describes you.
